- Miracles - Roving Chef - Alcohol Isn't The Problem - Samaritan - Witness To Fall Miracles Editor, Times-Union: In regards to Mr.Stichter's letter concerning "Miracles" I felt a need to respond.First of all, miracles (in the sense that Mr.Kaiser was referring to them) are not ever preformed by a human person. They are done through a believer by Christ Jesus, as the Bible is referring to it. How I come up with this you may ask, is if you read on in the Bible, God states that he knows no one until they are saved by the blood of Christ, and repent. This doesn't mean you'll never sin again, we are all sinners saved or not until we reach the kingdom.Knowing you've sinned and repent it is the difference.

Editor, Times-Union:Well, as we sit here and watch Obama get ready to take another of our freedoms away, mainly the Second Amendment, does anyone really think he is going to ban assault rifles and high capacity magazines and leave it at that? After looking over his proposal, which really doesn’t amount to a hill of beans, I will tell you why.
Editor, Times-Union:I normally don’t write articles to newspapers or magazines, but I received a letter from an organization which I am proud to support, namely Citizens United Foundation. This article disturbed me greatly – almost sent me into orbit. Following is a portion of that letter.
- School Buses - Kosciusko Foundation - Heritage Corridor - A Few Bad Apples - Library Parking School Buses Editor, Times Union: This is in response to the school bus safety article you published recently. I am a school bus driver and I have from one to five people a week run my stop arm.The public needs to be reminded they are violating the law and how dangerous this is. How can you not see a huge yellow bus with its yellow and red flashers on stopped? I see people reading maps, putting on make up, talking on their cell phone, etc. This is how accidents happen.I have had several close calls. One day a car ran into a yard to avoid hitting the bus and almost hit a child.
- Don't Stereotype - Censor Ann Coulter Don't Stereotype Editor, Times-Union: I am submitting this letter in regards to the news this past weekend of the alleged child molestation by a local man.It will not be proven for quite some time if this man is guilty or not and I certainly do not know if the allegations are true, therefore, I cannot and will not point my finger.More importantly, it is not my place to judge him but to pray for the situation.I just needed to say a few things because there is going to be a lot of talk, rumors, speculation and misinformation. My intentions are not to make anyone angry, only help if I can.
Editor, Times-Union:Do you believe in the power of prayer?

- Forced Association - Bellar Case - Council Supports Eads - Hunting Preserve - Movie Choices Forced Association Editor, Times-Union: In response to "Secession" by Alexander Houze Jan.24.I believe the title of this piece should have been forced association because this combination of verbs offers a broader definition of slavery ...I feel this is what the author intended to convey.

- Save Our Pets - Firearms Laws - Justice - Sanity In Government - Putt Endowment - Animal Shelter Save Our Pets Editor, Times-Union: Dogs - cats, animals Why in the world do we kill these animals? Why not charge $10 to adopt a cat, and $15 - $20 to adopt a dog? I believe more of these "Friends" would be adopted if fees were lowered. Another idea! Why not get permission to have some of these "Friends" placed in retirement homes, where they would get lots of love. Save out pets.
Editor, Times-Union:In reading Burchette's letter to the editor, I can see his rhetoric is the same tired propaganda that the Liberal-Socialists keep espousing.
