Do you believe in the power of prayer? Are you frustrated with the direction our country is taking? Would you like to join with others to "cry out to God for a nation in distress"? Then please join with a group of like-minded citizens in a plea to God for His Wisdom and Blessing.
There are two events coming up that need to be covered with prayer. The first is April 17 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Kosciusko County Courthouse. The other event is May 1 at Rodeheaver Auditorium, in Winona Lake, at 9:30 a.m. The event is called "One Nation Back to God". All pastors in the area are invited along with people who want to get involved in their churches to preserve our moral and conservative values.
There will be other events in the future needing prayer as we work to become a positive force in our community and the nation.
There are three ways you can help:
First, please add these events to your prayer list at your place of worship; in small groups or the whole congregation.
Next, join with other citizens at the Silent No More meetings at the Presbyterian Church on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for a time of prayer before the meeting.
Last, you can go online at www.kosciuskosilentnomore.com. Go to the "get involved" line and scroll to the "prayer forum" line. You are welcome to leave a prayer or ask for a prayer for a burden on your heart. As believers we must take our responsibility of prayer very seriously and be "constant in prayer" for our country during these trying times.
Some prayer requests are: God's direction for churches and our nation, Wisdom for our leaders, and that we would all be obedient to God.
Please consider being a prayer partner for our nation.
