I think I have heard it said, "The Devil is satisfied if we even do nothing." I have heard it said, "We all are on earth for a reason." I think you will agree, we plant flowers for our enjoyment. "Our creator has created us for His enjoyment." Isaiah 43:4.
What are we doing with the life God has loaned us is very important. Our bodies are not our property. They are God's. 1Cor. 6:19. As I see it, God gives and takes.
If someone loaned his car to you, would you use it or only store it in a garage? Our God has loaned us a temple for His Holy Spirit to dwell. 1 Cor. 3:16. As you know one person can do a lot. Billy Graham and Jerry Falwell are examples. For what are we using the tools God has loaned us?
A man on TV recently said something that he thought was really, really sad was, "When the Titanic struck the iceberg, a large boat was nearby but, no one heard the distress signal. They were all asleep." Are we just concerned as to what makes us happy? Let us try to make our God happy. Let us use the temple our God has loaned us to store and build eternal values. That will make us happy also. I am reminded of a very old song, "When you're happy, I am happy. When we're happy, we are all happy, and I am happy too."
"When man's ways pleases our Lord, He makes even His enemies to be at peace with Him." Proverb 16:7.
