At 5:50 p.m. Saturday, emergency personnel were dispatched to Central Park for a missing person. The situation rapidly evolved to a potential drowning, according to information provided by the Warsaw Police Department. Within two minutes of entering the lake, a Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory rescue diver located the 37-year-old male victim; who was resuscitated and stabilized. The male was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital thereafter.

MENTONE – The Mentone Fire Department will be able to purchase equipment for a new fire truck to make it operational due to a donation from the Mentone Chamber of Commerce.

According to the American College of Radiology (ACR), having regular mammograms can lower the risk of dying from breast cancer, the second most common cancer among women in the United States.
