Editor, Times-Union: Evidence Uncovered: You are a financial asset — your birth certificate created a secret Cestui Que Vie Trust worth billions, and the deep state never told you!
Editor, Times-Union: I am writing this letter to express my strong support for Brad Jackson in the upcoming caucus January 6, 2026, to fill the remainder of DeLynn Geiger’s term as county councilman at-large. As a community leader and advocate for our Kosciusko County taxpayers, I have witnessed firsthand the commitment and dedication Brad has demonstrated in our community.
Editor, Times-Union: I recently had an extended and productive conversation with Brad Jackson, who is seeking the Republican caucus nomination for the at-large county council seat vacated by DeLynn Geiger. We covered several important topics, and I wanted to share my impressions of his philosophy on local government.
Editor, Times-Union: Watching NCAA football the past few days it seemed to me we are watching the new NCAA from which there is no turning back.
Editor, Times-Union: A shelter vs. a hotel isn’t the point; a shelter is a last resort in a crisis that the town could easily prevent. The shelter itself is not supposed to be Plan A; it’s there as a safety net if the other resources fail. Those resources are not supposed to fail intentionally. Employment connections are important, but they do not replace stable housing or prevent eviction. We should be doing everything possible to prevent that trauma in the first place. The Mission can be an important resource, but it cannot replace prevention when arrears are still small enough to resolve. Prevention is cheaper, more humane, and more effective than response.
Editor, Times-Union: We choose to believe what we want to believe. Too many people take advantage of that fact and know the gullible will believe lies if they are what the gullible want to believe.
Editor, Times-Union: We need not look far to see the real worst of the worst, the most despicable, the most self-serving, egotistical, heartless examples of deplorable human beings who are the centers of national attention, the daily headlines in all media outlets, the most vocal critics of all who try to hold them accountable for their depravity … the instruments of an oligarchy taking over the control and leadership of our country, to-wit:
Editor, Times-Union: On behalf of the A Country Christmas with Susie McEntire team, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, artists, and everyone who attended Saturday night’s event. Despite challenging weather conditions, our community — and our guests showed up in a big way, with visitors traveling from Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and more.
Editor, Times-Union: It has been reported that because Indiana is not redrawing Congressional Districts, Indiana will receive less federal funding. Following is the solution:
Editor, Times-Union: Like many seniors we can remember when life was simple and in many was better.
Editor, Times-Union: I am the Wayne Township trustee. I am responding to Evan Carter’s message directed at our office regarding homelessness.
Editor, Times-Union: If you have not figured out, the person Indianapolis selected to speak to us has really stepped up his game. This session, he authored a bill for the Indiana Gaming Commission to accept applications and award an owner’s license for a casino in Allen County. Why is a Kosciusko County “representative” helping Allen County get a casino? Whether Allen County needs a casino is not the issue. The issue is someone from two counties away is authoring the bill to help them out.
Editor, Times-Union: Trump has called you pigs, piggy, ugly, stupid, nasty. Trump’s “team” has made sure you have no autonomy over your own bodies. Trump has been accused by dozens of women and found guilty of sexual assault by one woman (and still has not paid his victim what the court ordered.) Trump has denied his friendship with the most prolific sexual predator and trafficker of our time, and refuses to release damaging files which may implicate him. Trump’s sycophants (including religious clergy) are pushing for the reversal of the 19th Amendment — your right to vote — and at a minimum are hoping to nullify your voter registrations if you have had a name change and show up to vote without verification of that change. Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill has now paved the way to declassify many areas of educational study as not professional: nurses, educators, physicians’ assistants, etc., in order to cut/limit reimbursement for higher education costs. By the way, a vast number of the targeted professions is held by women.
Editor, Times-Union: Democrats often seem like bullies that complain that they bruised their knuckles on the skull of their victim and then they expect sympathy. Lately, Democrats have been talking about affordability even though they are the reason for things being so expensive. But they like to blame Trump for the high prices or not bringing them down fast enough. I heard Senator Schumer say Trump hadn't lowered prices even though the gas we use in our vehicles has been a lot less expensive than it was when Biden was president. Maybe he doesn't buy gas or eggs that have gone down in price.
Editor, Times-Union: Homelessness doesn’t begin at a shelter door; it starts with a missed paycheck or rent that rises faster than a family’s income. Wayne Township has the money to intervene long before someone ends up houseless — and year after year, it doesn’t.
Editor, Times-Union: I am writing as a downtown property owner, someone who has attended the meetings, weighed in on plans, and cares deeply about seeing downtown Warsaw succeed. I am strongly opposed to the decision by Main Street Warsaw and the Warsaw Redevelopment Commission to spend $30,000 on a consultant for yet another study.
Editor, Times-Union: Many of us Hoosiers are totally opposed to the idea of a congressional redistricting bill like the one the Indiana General Assembly has been considering lately that would serve the interests of only one of the state’s two political parties to the detriment of the other party and tens of thousands of Indiana residents – including minorities and others in metropolitan Marion and Lake counties who would no longer be represented to the same extent in the voting booths of Indiana.
Editor, Times-Union: Thank you to the Elks and the men and women volunteers that worked to bring about a wonderful Thanksgiving meal for the entire community and delivering to the shut-ins all over the county. It was delicious!
Editor, Times-Union: Last April, concerned citizens of Kosciusko County stood up to and defeated a proposed data center on prime farmland near Leesburg. Now Amazon, in conjunction with NIPSCO, wants to spend $15 billion to build new data centers in northern Indiana.
Editor, Times-Union: The Democrat Party has catered to criminals for decades. Al Capone wanted to be a Democrat senator from Illinois but was thrown into prison for tax evasion. It took the state decades to send another person from Chicago who thought he was above the law to become a senator and eventually president.
Editor, Times-Union: A classic novel authored by Mary Shelly in 1818 is a tale of a Dr. Frankenstein who became obsessed with bringing death back to life never thinking of the consequences of his actions.
Editor, Times-Union: We would like to thank the local businesses and individuals that donated money and items to our Treasures for Kidz event, which was held on November 9 this year. This is our 37th year working with CCS to provide for the children and families of Kosciusko County.
Editor, Times-Union: After a challenging year that began with learning the company we had purchased our products for our annual Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary fundraiser was closing its doors, we searched until we discovered another company that worked well for us.
Editor, Times-Union: 3 a.m. I am up, because I could not sleep. Saddened over the condition of the heart of the people of our country. Saddened over my own heart condition. Attorneys general, elected even after knowing that he had wished his opponent and his children murdered. Conservative groups on college campus or peaceful organized events, harassed and attacked. Who are we? But more importantly, who could we be, who do we want to be? What will the world be like for our children and grandchildren if we continue to ignore and accept violence as an answer to opposing views?
Editor, Times-Union: All townships file an Annual Financial Report that are advertised in the paper every year and our budgets are advertised on Gateway of IN. Nothing to hide!
