Seizing Control

Editor, Times-Union:
When George Will wrote an editorial about wanting Democrats to take back control of the House and Senate, I sent him an email in response. The Democrat Party is not like it used to be half a century ago when reasonable people controlled the insane members. He wants to balance President Trump with a Democrat Congress.
That would be like when the Roman Empire integrated barbarians into the empire to expose the people to civilization. Instead, they took over the empire and plunged Europe into the Dark Ages. I fear the crazy Democrats that want to control the Senate and Congress could reverse the progress the first two years of Trump's second term will have brought to America and the rest of the world.
We know Democrats want to impeach Trump even though he hasn't done an impeachable offense. His first impeachment was because he wanted Ukraine to investigate the corruption of Joe Biden. And when Republicans should have impeached Biden for his corruption, they didn't do it. And the second impeachment was based on the lie that Trump caused the chaos on January 6 he wanted to prevent because Pelosi didn't want to have the National Guard at the Capitol to prevent it from happening.
If the Democrats want to impeach him for taking Maduro then why didn't they impeach Bush when he took the leader of Panama? Also, if attacking Venezuela helps bring democracy to that country, impeaching Trump for supporting democracy would make no sense.
I think it would be foolish to invade Greenland because it would make the people there resent America. It would be better to make agreements with the people of Greenland and make the nation our trading partner instead of owning it. The military could pay the property owners on Greenland for the use of their land for the installation of the Golden Dome system which might be the construction of charged particle beam weapons to shoot down missiles and warheads like I proposed for a satellite defense system in 1970 to Nixon.
Democrats accuse ICE of being like the gestapo and causing chaos. Has it slaughtered citizens like the Nazis did or started rioting like the protesters of ICE have? It looks like Democrats want chaos and think it will allow them to take back control of Congress. That would be like making arsonists firemen.
We need more Republicans in Congress and the Senate. They would keep the crazies from taking over and prevent another sham impeachment trial that will be a waste of time and money and assure the election of a Republican as president in 2028 when Democrats are confirmed to be barbarians willing to destroy America.
