During last week’s Munich Security Conference, several familiar faces were seen from the Democrat Party. The conference is held every year bringing sitting heads of state and other dignitary’s together to discuss the present security posture of NATO and other European countries not yet in NATO. The faces I referred to are Gov. Gavin Newsom, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Cortez and failed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The first two came for some face time on a foreign platform so they can check the box when they campaign for president in a couple years, but neither of them got what they expected. Hillary Clinton went there to, well, to feel relevant again I guess. The three of them thought they could field some softball questions, try to network with some billionaires and eat some good food but what they experienced was anything but that.
Gov. Newsom thought he could drag out his “I hate Trump” routine and how he felt Trump would get us in another world war. What he still doesn’t realize is that his TDS is not shared by the Europeans and found himself being reprimanded by the Hungarian president for criticizing his president on foreign soil, something that came very close to violating the Sedition Act. You would think he offered his idea on global security but why do that, especially when you haven’t the slightest idea what is going on!
AOC was must-watch TV. When asked if she thought America would defend Taiwan if attacked by China, a question one would expect to be asked at a Security Conference, but not AOC, she went with a 27-second-long “word salad” that only Kamala Harris could understand. Derided by even the New York Times and criticized by every critic who hasn’t had their lips sewn shut, AOC is now hiding out somewhere in N.Y. dreading to return to Washington, D.C., and have to face her colleagues.
Then there was Hillary, who I guess went to the conference to try to be relevant again. She tried to show her Secretary of State chops with a young European reporter during an interview but wasn’t answering his question, she ultimately resorted to finger-wagging “Karen” rage to intimidate the young lad, who wasn’t having it. Hillary once again reminded us that she was an ineffectual Secretary of State that got Americans killed at the embassy in Benghazi, Libya, used her government position to pressure donors to contribute to the bogus relief organization called the Clinton Global Initiative and was a two-time presidential campaign loser.
The three of them returned home licking their wounded egos and probably don’t understand what went wrong. They don’t realize that once they wandered out from beneath the protective umbrella of the mainstream media they have to know what they’re talking about ... and they don’t.
