The loss of memory can be a temporary condition, but in the case of the far left it would seem to be permanent.
They rage about “affordability” yet it was them that caused it. We now realize that the lies about “keeping your insurance or keeping your doctor” were just a lie propagated by President Barrack Hussein Obama only to force a debacle called The Affordable Care Act on us. A health program designed to help those not eligible for Medicaid and not covered by their employer. The insurance pool rapidly shrunk to a handful of insurance companies who were mandated to include preexisting conditions. Subsequently, the cost of insurance exploded, necessitation the government subsidize these policies by about 30%. The subsidization grew to almost 90% during Covid and the income qualification loosened to four times above poverty level. We now subsidize health insurance for some people who make between 400 and 600 thousand dollars a year! The increased Covid subsidization was scheduled to “sunset” at the end of 2025 and now the Democrats are crying foul even though it was them who put in the “sunset” clause!
Since taking office, the Trump administration has been addressing the “affordability” problem we’ve all felt since the Biden administration created the highest inflation in the past 40 years. Inflation causes prices to go up, it causes your take home pay to buy less, it pretty much messes up our economy, so what do we do?
President Trump has imposed tariffs in an effort to balance world trade. This was just one leg of the structural rehabilitation for our economy that needed to be addressed after four years of an incompetent governance. Lowering the cost of fuel was the next leg, the cost of oil effects everything in our economy. Another problem incurred by Biden was his war on fossil fuels. He put a stop to new fuel production as well as refineries. As we had imported much of our diesel fuel from Russia, we now find ourselves hasten trying to fill this need. It is diesel which fuels our trains and trucking which are the heart of our distribution system, the cost of distribution directly effects the prices we pay at the stores.
I’ve not forgotten the numerous attempts by the Democrats to try and hold the American taxpayers hostage with their ridiculous programs. I’ve not forgotten how they told us the border is secure, or how we don’t realize how good we’ve got it as inflation rose to 9.2%. I don’t have amnesia and I don’t think you have either.
