Editor, Times-Union:The Alternative Minimum Tax is going to affect, for the first time, 23 million new taxpayers when filing their 2007 returns. If their wages are more than $50,000, they will be significantly affected.
Editor, Times-Union:With all due respect, Mr. Editor, there are those who have submitted letters to your paper that were not printed and were not in poor taste as I’m getting phone calls verifying that since my letter appeared. Of course, opinions vary from one person to another.

Ordinarily I love letters to the editor.But lately there has been a rash of letters, and comments in other places, on how "all we see in the newspaper are stories about the bad kids.We never hear about the good kids." OK.As education editor for the Times-Union, I have a few things to say about that.
