Loose Dogs

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

It seems some people around 600 North (Clunette Road) refuse to keep their dogs on their own property.

The bad thing is deer season came in on Oct. 1. On Oct. 2, two dogs from 550 North chased a deer through the woods twice.

It's not a good feeling to have this happen after you have spent time and money to try and put a deer in your freezer. These dogs were a black mutt and a shepard mix with no collars. I know where they came from and the humane society has been contacted. Just be glad I was a nice guy and your dogs came back home.

If it was gun season and it was someone else up in the stand, it might have been a different story, so please, people, if you care for your dogs at all at this time of year, keep them out of the woods.
