Editor, Times-Union: Concerned Citizens of Kosciusko County would like to alert rural neighbors of letters they may receive announcing the intent to construct a CAFO. The letter will not mention that this will be a Confined Animal Feeding Operation and that it may contain 4,6020 hogs, or maybe 90,000 chickens, and it will be in very close proximity to your home and your water well, also your good clean breathing space.
Editor, Times-Union:In all my 93 years of living, I think we are living in a most unusual era. I say that for two of many reasons.

The police have a slogan, "Click it or ticket." Video stores have a slogan, "Be kind - rewind." So, how about a slogan for shoppers, "Be smart - bring in a cart.

You must not have any idea what you go through to pick two pints to equal one raspberry pie.
