Letters To The Editor

- America's Blessed - Lockouts - Taxes - Holocaust - Christmas Spirit - Silver Lake School - School Points To Ponder - Build The Facilities America's Blessed Editor, Times-Union: From your HISTORY page of the Nov.27 Times-Union, came something that also disturbed me.One of the articles on that page was black print on a gray background. After turning on more lights so it could be read, I realized that it should have been printed black on black so it couldn't have been read, no matter how many lights were on.The whole page should have been black on black so it couldn't have been read.It was a "disturbing" page.

Editor, Times-Union:After looking at Saturday’s paper and seeing all the new taxes that are coming due to Obamacare, I thought I would ask the simple question of how exactly are we going to pay for it?

Editor, Times-Union:We were gone for a few days and I picked up the Times-Union to catch up and noticed the letter to the editor that talked about WRSW’s coverage of the storm last week.

Editor, Times-Union:I take it that I was correct on the new upcoming wheel tax that was rammed down our throats by the Republicans, the cheerleaders Miller and Martin did not chime in to correct me.

- Bad Ads Bad Ads Editor, Times-Union: I cannot hardly stand to watch Chris Chocola and Joe Donnelly television commercials anymore. When we have to watch them just about every commercial break, all I can think of is how much money it must cost to run their particular pleas for a vote.

Editor, Times-Union:September 28, 6 a.m. … 40 days of Prayer and Fasting kick-off.

Editor, Times-Union:A lot of effort is being made and money spent by Parkview Health to push its agenda locally. A look on the Internet tells how badly they want to be a regional leader.

Editor, Times-Union:The folks at Fox News and Republicans are aghast that the poor won't just go away and die or at least have the decency to learn how to live on high wind and water.

Editor, Times-Union:Rebecca Kubacki will probably say this is “hateful,” I’d rather call it “truthful.”

Editor, Times-Union:I feel I must apologize to Mr. Loyd Fletcher (I won't use your middle name).

Editor, Times-Union: Have you read the article titled “Chicago Environmental Center Steps into CAFO Debate”? It was in Thursday’s Times-Union.

- Good Fertilizer - Bible: No Rejection - Right-Wing Overload - Politics Good Fertilizer Editor, Times-Union: I recently made a startling discovery and I have you to thank for it. We have a garden every year and this year we have probably one of the best gardens we have ever had.Every Monday evening after I read Ann Coulter's column, I cut it out of the editorial page and shred it and then spread it on my garden. All that BS from the "Wicked Witch of the Press" has been enough to fertilize it better than any Miracle Grow ever could. I am a very long-time subscriber to the Times-Union and find her column really good at improving my very low blood pressure.

Editor, Times-Union:Even if you’re wrong, if you bully people enough, you can be considered right.

Editor, Times-Union: I am an eleven year old, and I see money being spent in Fort Wayne when it should be spent in Warsaw. In my opinion Warsaw should get a mall.

Editor, Times-Union:I submitted a letter earlier challenging Christians to know what they believe, why they believe it and to live according to those beliefs. Then as Christians in America I encouraged them to vote according to their beliefs.

- Roemer Responds - Miller Says Thanks - Prime Time Blame - School Costs - Thanks To Phil Tom - Grace Says Thanks - Thanks To Firemen Roemer Responds Editor, Times-Union: I would like to respond to Robert Villa's recent letter.I strongly support tax cuts, tax simplification and IRS reform - and have consistently voted for them. I believe tax simplification and continued tax relief are important for working Americans and their families. This position is reflected in my voting record.First, I have opposed any tax increases.

Editor, Times-Union:Kosciusko County is blessed to have six people of quality vying for judge in Superior Courts 1 and 2.

Editor, Times-Union: Since last week was D-Day week and I have been asked about it, here are my remembrances of 67 years ago. Still a teenager, I was in England four or five months before D-Day. England seemed to be a large airfield and filled with large supply depots, daily increasing in size to sustain the many army divisions that would fight on the western front.

Editor, Times-Union:I would like to thank everyone who has been so helpful, encouraging and supportive with the opening of my business, Kelsea Designs, Pierceton.
