Editor, Times-Union:Surely many of you have read the concerns expressed about production agriculture, specifically CAFO, in our county.

Editor, Times-Union:I want to share some thoughts about Dave Baumgartner, candidate at-large for the Warsaw City Council.

Editor, Times-Union:I would like to take this opportunity to respond to an article in Saturday's paper regarding the vandalism in the neighborhood surrounding Rex's Rendezvous.

- Details Important - NASA Spending - Seniors Need Rides - Red Light Cameras - Life Chain Details Important Editor, Times-Union: If someone was disturbed by reading the details of the "minister" who molested a young boy, imagine how the victim felt having those things done to him. Thanks to news coverage, more potential victims have come forward.People may know what molestation is but sometimes it's important for people to know details.I commend the Times-Union for having the article on the front page.I believe that it's important for people to know that some people who call themselves a "pastor" are sometimes wolves in sheeps' clothing.

Editor, Times-Union: As I write this letter, I know that I have dear friends that are really not going to like what I have to say. I want to give my two cents on the current situation we are in and the state of our nation. I have followed our congress as closely as I could since 2000, I have tried my hardest to be as impartial as possible.

Editor, Times-Union:Earlier this week, your newspaper reported criticism of Congressman Mark Souder at a recent Whitko School Board meeting. The congressman was criticized by two educators for comments he had made at a March 2 listening session he held regarding the reauthorization of the No Child Left Behind law.

Editor, Times-Union:I realize that this subject can be a very difficult one to address.

- The Politics Of Religion - Address To Arabs - School Coverage The Politics Of Religion Editor, Times-Union: You cannot vote Democrat and be a Christian. If you think you can, you are wrong.If I did not write this I would be guilty of not standing up for God and God's holy laws.

Editor, Times-Union:Edwin R. Murrow once said, "A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves." It is amazing how right he was.

Editor, Times-Union:I read the great story in Saturday's Times-Union, of EMS units from Warsaw and many other places in Indiana, traveling to the East Coast of the United States to help out with the hurricane relief efforts.

Editor, Times-Union:As former District 22 state representative, later District 9 state senator, in the Indiana General Assembly, I wholehearted concur with Rev. Lowe’s recent letter to the editor regarding his opposition to allow government to regulate government church outreach ministries in Indiana.

Editor, Times-Union:As a country boy and a long-time admirer of pigs - "Arnold Ziffle", "Porky and Petunia", "The Three Little" and others ...

- Nightmare After OWI Arrest Nightmare After OWI Arrest Editor, Times-Union: I'm writing this to tell you a story of a normal citizen picked up for OWI.One night when getting off of work after 12 hours, I stopped with friends to have a few drinks.After a couple of hours, I got in my car and proceeded to follow two friends and headed home.After getting 1-1/2 miles from home, these headlights loomed up behind me from nowhere and I was pulled over not for driving poorly but for having a plate light out on my car.

Editor, Times-Union:There seems to be widespread ignorance, from people who haven't worked in a restaurant, when it comes to tipping.

Editor, Times-Union:February is National Library Lover's Month at Warsaw Community Public Library.

Editor, Times-Union:Well, well, well, tax slaves, surprise or is it?

Editor, Times-Union: This is in reference to Mr. Bartley’s latest rant on his closed door “town hall” for the Right to Work bill. Since Mr. Bartley loves labels, let me give you a few of mine.

- Winona - John Weyler Winona Editor, Times Union: My wife and I appreciate all the renovations that are occurring in Winona Lake.Even though we are not residents, we enjoy seeing the town come back to life.A big "thank you" to all the hard workers out there. As a member of one of the churches "that have Winona Lake in their name," I read with interest the story in the paper Oct.15."Alcohol Sales Not An Issue For Council: Wilcoxson" left me with a few questions.
