Editor, Times-Union:I am confused as to why there is this “War on Christmas.” There was a story that was printed in many local papers about a town in Indiana that came under fire from “Freedom from Religion,” a group out of Wisconsin that is gutting the spirit of the First Amendment, and the meaning of Christmas.
Editor, Times-Union:In my years in the statewide political world, I have always respected different points of view and have always encouraged folks to become involved in the political process – always looking for new thoughts and ideas.
Editor, Times-Union:'Tis the Christmas season again, and most of we elderly folks can conjure up many loving memories of the Christmases of long ago.

Editor, Times-Union: I am saddened, confused and wondering about the very apparent and noticeable lack of coverage given by the Times-Union to the recent Tent Revival/“The Awakening” that happened in our great city a week ago. This week-long event was advertised for the entire Warsaw/Winona Lake community. I attended several of the meetings and though I cannot say I agree with everything that was presented, the very nature of the event itself should have been one that was covered by our news media.
Editor, Times-Union: As a member of working class America I couldn’t help but wonder why the mainstream media seemed to be ignoring Dr. Ron Paul’s bid for the Republican ticket nomination for president in 2012.

- Mauk - Home Care & Hospice - APC, BZA Lies - Music For LIFE Mauk Editor, Times-Union: I've just read Jonathan Mauk's last retort to my letter. For some reason he says he will no longer respond to my letters. In his last letter he claims I don't comprehend the content of his letters and that if I felt he had personally attacked me, it is an internal thing in my own soul and heart. I've noticed you completely disregarded my request that you pray for my soul, you keep insisting I do this for myself.I have no doubts that I will enter the kingdom of Heaven - repenting my sins along the way.So, basically, if you are so concerned with my well-being, that should have been enough.
- Autumn Reminiscence - Bus Safety - Drinking And Driving Autumn Reminiscence Editor, Times-Union: After a season of hot, torrid summer weather, the pleasant, balmy days of fall are generally welcomed by most mortals, although one often hears many individuals complain: "I hate fall, because it's a prelude to winter!" Personally, I love fall, when the sky is mainly a soft, azure blue, surmounted by fluffy, snow-white clouds drifting leisurely over the heavens, not to mention a bright, vivid countryside all aflame with leaves of fiery red, orange or yellow.
