Jobs for USA workers where are they?

Overseas or in poor countries near our borders. Why are they there? Our government decided they should increase the wages in all the poor countries of the world by letting our companies import their goods they make outside of our country and sell it to us at the same price if made by our workers. Isn't that the way to make a strong America and fill the pockets of the CEO's and politicians. The slogan for Americans should be "If We Make It We Will Buy It." Let China take a leap off the cliff. Stop buying from China. We can make it without them.

My letter to the editor on tariffs on all goods coming into this country was sent to Lugar, Bayh and Souder. Senator Lugar was the only politician to reply: He will do what he can, which isn't too much. He doesn't believe in tariffs. He informed me that Indiana in 2007 exported nearly 26 billion in goods. Adding valuable and needed jobs in our economy. I want Lugar, Bayh and Souder to give me and you the figures on what the people of Indiana and the state lost in wages, savings and taxes due to company's putting their production in foreign countries. What did we export? When 90 percent of all products we buy are made outside of this country. If you don't believe me check the labels on consumer goods and see for yourself. How many billions have we lost. Let's restart our clothing mills, our electronic factories, steel mills, hard goods factories, shoe factories and buy only our food stuffs made in our country, our motto is: "If We Make It We Will Buy It." We must keep our money and our jobs here. Stop buying foreign made products. Bring back prosperity to our people and nation.
