NAPPANEE – William W. Best, 97, Nappanee, died at 3 a.m. May 8, 2014, at his residence. He was born March 7, 1919, in Nappanee, to William C. and Idola Weisser Best. On Nov. 21, 1954, in Nappanee, he married Irene E. Speheger, who died March 6, 1988. On June 27, 1992, he married Kristine Lekich, who survives. Services will be at 3 p.m. May 19 at Grace Point Presbyterian Church, Nappanee, with Pastor Terry Tyler officiating. Burial will be at South Union Cemetery with military graveside services.
