Whether it’s a commercial, industrial or municipal property, Crystal Clear Leak Detection specializes in finding underground water leaks.
They also can check leaks on residential property.
Wednesday afternoon, Crystal Clear Leak Detection had a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce.
Co-owner Dave Lomperski explained his business offers water leak detection for municipalities and private areas. “I’ll do water leak detection up to a house, but not in the house. I can do basements, but not crawl spaces. It has to be measured in order to be accurate, in order to find a possible water leak.”
He said if it’s after the meter and a person has high water bills, he said they can find the leak. If it’s before the meter, there’s water loss for the city, which is lost revenue “which then it can be found that way, too.”
Dave owns Crystal Clear Leak Detection with his wife, Beth, and they just started the business this year. Their son, Trevor, also works for the business.
Dave has been doing leak detection for three years. He also has a DSL certification “so I know about water systems. That’s the highest ranking certification that you can get for a municipality.”
The certification is through the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
“I’m serving Northeast Indiana, Southern Michigan. I’m not stepping into Illinois or Ohio yet, but probably soon. All the way down to Indy, currently,” Dave said.

“We’re here to save money for you and get your leaks fixed. So bring down the costs and help the environment so it’s just not dumping out and being lost. Leaking water can create sinkholes, it can create a lot of problems,” he stated.
