He attended the University of Houston’s School of Finance for two years and was a 1975 graduate of Florida State University. He moved to Indianapolis in 2008 and spent the last several years helping to care for his special-needs grandson, Corwin, who was the light of his life.
He loved to travel, taking his family on trips to such places as Aruba, Cancun, Dominican Republic and Florida. He also had a great love for boating and the water, having grown up on Winona Lake and lived on Tippecanoe Lake and Webster Lake during his lifetime.
His other passion was sports – especially Florida State, Colts and Pacers, whose games he attended whenever he could.
