LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Grace College men’s basketball team could not find the answer to Warner University’s offense on Tuesday, losing 99-79 in their second game in Florida in as many days.

Warsaw girls cross country coach Matt Campbell informed the Warsaw Community High School athletic department Tuesday that he is resigning as girls cross country coach. Campbell, a former Tiger cross country runner, served as coach for three full seasons. He stepped in as interim coach in 2014 while coach Scott Erba took a leave of absence, and he led the Lady Tigers to a share of the Northern Lakes Conference championship, plus sectional and regional titles and a state finals qualification, where they finished 16th.

BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Grace College men’s basketball team kicked off its trip to the Sunshine State with a 92-90 win at Webber International. The Lancers (7-8) shot 50 percent from the floor and snapped a three-game losing streak on Monday.

GARY – Exactly one month after suffering a narrow loss to IU Northwest, Grace College’s women’s basketball team got the last laugh on Monday. The Lady Lancers (6-7) downed the RedHawks 69-56 thanks to a stifling defensive performance. Grace, which won its third straight game, held the RedHawks (7-8) to 32 percent shooting in the 13-point win.

SYRACUSE – It wasn’t hard for Wawasee coach Matt Carpenter to find the turning point in the Lady Warriors’ 43-33 loss to visiting Warsaw in their Northern Lakes Conference girls basketball game Saturday night.
