SYRACUSE – While the game was played in chilly temperatures, with fans wearing winter coats, hats and gloves and bundled in blankets, Columbia City’s offense was far from cold.

NORTH MANCHESTER – The phrase “paying it forward” isn’t too far off the minds of Manchester University junior Connor Eichenauer and freshman Karly Eichenauer.

UPLAND – Competing in temperatures that resembled winter more than spring, the Grace College track and field squad ended up in fifth place on the men's side and eighth on the women's side at the George Glass Invitational at Taylor University. 

SOUTH BEND – Former Warsaw football coach Phil Jensen will be honored at the 45th Annual Moose Krause Memorial Scholar-Athlete dinner on April 25 as the Contributions to Football recipient.

MARION – Aaron Voirol threw one of the best games of his career for Grace College’s baseball team on Thursday, leading the Lancers to a split of a doubleheader against Crossroads League rival Indiana Wesleyan.

GOSHEN – Grace College’s baseball team was unable to capitalize on its baserunners in two defeats at Goshen College on Friday. The Lancers (1-21, 1-7 Crossroads League) scored two runs in both losses, falling 3-2 and 7-2 on the road.

WINONA LAKE – Grace College’s softball team played its second home doubleheader of the season on Friday, splitting with Crossroads League rival Huntington University at Miller Athletic Complex.

Ryan Hall, a former Olympic runner and the national record holder in the half marathon, spoke to Warsaw Community Schools sixth graders Friday afternoon.
