Voirol Named NCCAA Pitcher Of The Week

WINONA LAKE – Grace College’s Aaron Voirol was named the NCCAA National Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

Voirol threw a four-hitter to beat Indiana Wesleyan on the road. The junior hurler threw seven shutout innings, striking out seven batters in a 1-0 victory. 

He got stronger as the game progressed and didn’t allow a Wildcat to reach base over the final three innings.

The Lancers are poised to play their home opener today, welcoming Bethel to Miller Athletic Complex at 3 p.m.



Valley Holding Physical Night On May 1

AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley will be hosting an athletic physical night on May 1 from 6-8 p.m. Cost of the physical is $15. 

Student-athletes in elementary, middle school and high school who want to participate in a sport for the 2018-19 school year must have a valid physical on file that is completed on or after April 1.



YMCA T-ball Registration Now Open

The Kosciusko Community YMCA is holding T-ball registration for kids ages 3-6 until April 29. There will be two divisions, one for ages 3-4 and one for kids aged 5-6.

Practices and games will be held at Harrison Elementary School on Saturdays between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. First game will be May 5 and last is June 16.
