Glen R. Elder, 69, Pierceton, passed away at 9 a.m. Dec. 6, 2013, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

NAPPANEE - L. Max Newcomer, 82, of 8356 W. Hepton Road, Nappanee, died at 11:35 a.m. Sept. 11, 2010, in The Maples, Goshen, after an extended illness.

SYRACUSE – Evelyn M. Jones, 89, of Warsaw, died at 1:35 p.m. Apr. 14, 2011 at Mason Health Care in Warsaw.

ROCHESTER - Opal Laree Gearhart, 98, Rochester, formerly of Akron, died at 10:08 p.m. May 27, 2010, at her residence.

Emily Bernadine Kennedy, 92, beloved mother and grandmother, died late morning May 16, 2008, in Trinity Station, Flatwoods, Ky., where she was a resident and in failing health for the past eight years.

SYRACUSE – Sherri Ann Morton, 44, of Leesburg, died Sept. 3, 2012, in her residence.Arrangements are pending at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.

Lee Neal, 69, passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with cancer July 2, 2015, in Palmetto, Fla.

Sharon A. Ermi, 71, Milford, died at 2:16 p.m. Jan. 10, 2016, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

John Nelson Gardner Sr, 97, formerly of Winona Lake, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Sept. 4, 2012, in his daughter’s North Manchester residence.

NORTH MANCHESTER - Roger D. Prater, 58, of North Manchester, died at 2:36 p.m. Nov. 15, 2010, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Ind. 13 north of Wabash.

Isaac “Ike” Slone, 76, of Warsaw, went home to be with his Lord and Savior at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 7, 2013, in Parkview North Hospital, Fort Wayne, surrounded by his family.
