Letters To The Editor

Editor, Times-Union: Welcome to Utopia, a place where a local farmer wants to build a CAFO. He would never think of trying to impose his business enterprise on unsuspecting neighbors, businesses, churches, schools or nursing homes, by building in close proximity to any of them. IDEM rules would be followed faithfully.

By the form of your letter it seems you are drawing conclusions on the class just because it involves guns. You seem to oppose it based on that fact rather than look at what it is teaching. You're afraid of guns because you don't understand them.I suggest you take the class with your kids to learn more.

Editor, Times-Union:I moved to the Warsaw area about a year and a half ago. One of the first things I did was to subscribe to the Times-Union, hoping to feel the pulse of the city.

Editor, Times-Union:I thought it was ironic that it took deer eating someone's tree to make the front page of the Times-Union - when deer have been eating the farmers' crops for years.

- 'Yes' To Barbee Sewer - Freedom Of Religion 'Yes' To Barbee Sewer Editor, Times-Union: I would like to respond to the lady who objected to the Barbee Conservancy District paying $70,000 for the larger sewer pipe (that may or may not some day accommodate a Barbee Lakes sewer system.) During the last meeting that I attended, we learned that if the Conservancy District is dissolved, all funds in the treasury revert back to the county and they are not reserved for projects that benefit the Barbee Lake area in any way. That money came from an increase in taxes to only people living within the Conservancy District and we are the people that should benefit from the money.
