- Opposes New Road - Fireworks Too Late - Goose Problem - Drug Debate Opposes New Road Editor, Times-Union: I would like to alert my fellow Phillips Addition residents that Zimmer Manufacturing is making a proposal that could change our neighborhood as we know it. Zimmer is proposing to install a 50-foot right-of-way public street between Hepler Drive and Zimmer Road, along the north side of their property which abuts Phillips Addition.If approved, the immediate effects would include lack of privacy and increased noise levels for the several properties that now touch the Zimmer parking lot.If approved, the future effects could include a dramatic increase in traffic in our neighborhood, thus destroying the peaceful character that we now enjoy.

Editor, Times-Union: I want to warn the public of the bee problem this time of year.

Editor, Times-Union:Linda Hamilton, this is in response to your letter some time ago titled "Bad Bush." You just kind of bugged me.

Editor, Times-Union:Recently, Baron Hill stepped down to allow Evan Bayhto compete in the senate race. Personally, I find this to bea horrendous violation of Democracy.

Editor, Times-Union: What a sad day to be a Republican! What we did as a party was and is no different than what the Democrats did with Obamacare. It has divided this great state because we sold out the hard-working people of this state. The worst part now is we will most likely lose control of the House and maybe the Senate, just like what happened in Washington, D.C.

Editor, Times-Union:I appreciate your support of our Second Amendment rights, Sir, but both you and Michael Voisinet have wrongfully accused Sara of things she did not say.

- Red Cross Volunteers - Political Gymnastics Red Cross Volunteers Editor, Times-Union: It is a great privilege for me to recognize the many, many volunteers who diligently support our Kosciusko County Chapter of the American Red Cross! The week of April 17-23 has been declared as National Volunteer Week, and a time to celebrate the contributions of volunteers everywhere.We are blessed with great volunteers at the American Red Cross and we salute each one because they do an awesome job! Clearly, our chapter would essentially go out of business tomorrow - if we did not have those wonderful people who share their time and talents to assist our chapter in so many ways.Consider just a few examples: Volunteers who: n Serve on our board of directors providing governance and direction.

- Meijer Proposal - Egg Hunt Manners - Council Candidate Meijer Proposal Editor, Times-Union: As everyone in the community has noticed the proposal of a Meijer store has sparked much controversy among Warsaw residents.To anyone relying solely on the Times-Union for any or all information regarding this issue, some of the facts have been misleading or completely absent and I would like to take the time to make clear the looking glass.

Editor, Times-Union:I don't write in too often, but, occasionally, I like to voice my opinion and throw my 2 cents in.

Editor, Times-Union:The fairest system is the free enterprise system. Fair share? The rich are paying their share. There is real data and it’s the fact that the rich already pay 90 percent of the taxes paid in the United States. More importantly, they own the companies and small businesses who hire.

Editor, Times-Union:Let me touch on this Health legistation, why all the rush and problems of gathering the needed 60 votes to get it passed? I would explain the rush this way.

Editor, Times-Union:Change?President Obama promised the most open, transparent administration in history.

Editor, Times-Union:I would like to make a comment or two regarding the Fort Wayne Veterans Administration.
