Editor, Times-Union: I want to warn the public of the bee problem this time of year.
My mother lives at Palestine Lake and we were unaware of the nest of bees underground. The bees attacked the dog and stung the dog all over. They were in its mouth and throat. The dog had to be put down.
This was like three days ago. Then my daughter who lives at Pierceton called yesterday. They had a nest in the front yard. My granddaughter was stung three times.
Our friend said to spray with bug stop and wait till dark. Pour approximately a gallon of gas down the hole and cover it with dirt. These bees are dangerous.
