Editor, Times-Union: What a sad day to be a Republican! What we did as a party was and is no different than what the Democrats did with Obamacare. It has divided this great state because we sold out the hard-working people of this state. The worst part now is we will most likely lose control of the House and maybe the Senate, just like what happened in Washington, D.C.
Our party has lost its way. We once were a party of the people, for the people. Now we don’t even listen to the people and let them have a voice. This is the reason we need to take our party back and remember the hard-working people that put us in office to represent their wishes, not just what the party wants.
