Editor, Times-Union:This is for the person who took it upon themselves to trespass onto my property Wednesday during broad daylight, while I was at work, and steal all the pieces of wood you could lift. Fortunately, it hadn't all been cut up into managable pieces, so I still have some.
- Judicial Nominees - Telemarketers Judicial Nominees Editor, Times-Union: I am outraged at the partisan games that Senator Daschle and Senator Leahy have been playing with President Bush's judicial nominees. They have created a crisis in the federal courts by leaving these important positions vacant indefinitely. President Bush has nominated over 100 men and women of distinction and accomplishment. They are solidly within the mainstream of American legal opinion and all of the pending nominees thus far have received either a well-qualified or qualified rating from the American Bar Association.

Mother's Day is May 9 and I have no idea what to buy for my mother. In the past, I've bought her cards, knickknacks, clothes and jewelry.I've even given her cash and taken her out to dinner.I may have even bought her a book a time or two. And every year I have to try to figure out something new to buy her. It's not like I'm complaining about it.My mother made more sacrifices for me and my three siblings than most people will ever know. From the time my father died in December 1981 until she remarried in 1997, she was a single parent who managed to feed and clothe her four children.

- Support Tigers - Thanks To Voters Support Tigers Editor, Times/Union: We would like to congratulate Coach Jensen, his staff and the players on reaching the Football Sectional Championship Finals for the first time in the history of Warsaw Community High School. We are the parents of two Tiger football players and are deeply saddened to learn that we will not hear Coach Jensen on WRSW 1480 AM on Saturday mornings discussing the Tiger football game from the night before. This is due to the decision of WRSW 107.3 FM to carry our NLC rivals in their Sectional Championship game against South Bend St.Joe.We could understand completely if another school within our county had reached the level the Tigers have reached receiving the FM coverage, but we don't believe NorthWood is in our county or our town.
Editor, Times-Union: Why did the news agencies report that WTC 7 collapsed almost half an hour before it did, even though it was not hit by a plane, only had a few floors on fire, and gave no indication that it was in any serious danger?
