Editor, Times-Union:Don Imus is, under no fault but his own, in some pretty hot water. And deservedly so, because any professional media voice would know better than to make such outlandish, hurtful remarks about, of all things, a college women's basketball team.
Editor, Times-Union:Regarding your story on the animal abuse case: Several pertinent points were not printed that should have been.
Editor, Times-Union:As an active member in the community of Kosciusko County, I was a little confused when I saw in numerous papers that the new Miss Kosciusko County Fair Queen is not even from our county. I know several of the contestants and would much rather have someone who contributes to our community and county be our representative as queen.

- Hospital Sale - Evolution - House Fire - Man Of The Year Hospital Sale Editor, Times-Union: Recent sales of local businesses to large corporate entities has me somewhat concerned. In light of the most recent sale of our community-funded hospital to the infamous Quorum Corporation, this must certainly be on a lot of people's minds. Most often these transactions are purported to represent an increase in quality of services, but the reality is usually exactly the opposite. Take Kroger's for instance, not only do most of my favorite brands begin to disappear but the quality of what remains begins to go downhill as well.
