To Julie and Mary Shepherd, yes I am a mother. I have four children and helped raise a stepson. My oldest son served four years on a nuclear sub in the Navy and my other son served 20 years in the Air Force.
I still feel the same way, when we turn a blind eye to our children or any other young person when they are doing wrong, we are not helping them.
