Yes, Tom Metzger, you are a statist. There is a long list of names that I can call you, most of them not publishable in print. However, the best way to describe you is a Nazi. Now, most of Warsaw is not going to recognize this name, but I want to remind you about one the man who discovered Adolf Hitler.
Ernst Hanfstaengl was a German-born, American-educated business man. Hitler knew not to squander talent. Hanfstaengl could do two things: play the piano, and introduce Hitler to the right people. Hitler was introduced to the high society of Munich who helped financed his book “Mein Kampf.” (Word of advice to everyone: If you’re not remotely interested in the topic, don’t buy it - it’s slow, it’s long and it’s boring). Hanfstaengl was wealthy, and Hanfstaengl knew wealthy people. Those wealthy people gave to Hitler after the Beer Hall Putsch and Hitler, and in return Hitler allowed those people to get rich.
So, Hitler in public tried to woo the working masses, but he was in bed with the “working capitalists” of Germany. Hitler wrote a pamphlet that was not to be seen by the masses called, “The Road to Resurgence.” In it, Hitler implies that the rich will continue to remain rich and be able to get richer. Many companies did get rich off the Nazis – some still exist today (i.e. Siemen’s). So idolizing a man who did the same thing you protest constantly not only makes you a Nazi, but also a hypocrite.
I would theorize that Tom Metzger is mad because he doesn’t have a Goldman Sachs, or a Morgan Stanley giving him money because of his ideas. But I don’t know of any major corporation who would. That is your Modus operandi, you whine about the two-party system is basically one and that is the only thing you have said that I actually won’t argue with. But let’s be realistic, Tom, your solutions aren’t any better, and in fact, they take as much liberty and individual freedom as anything the two parties have done.
I’ve studied World War II, Tom, and I mourn all the civilian causalities during the war, American, German, Soviet, British, French, and so on. I mourn the military dead. I don’t mourn the criminals who started this war, invaded millions, took millions prisoner and deprived millions more of life and liberty. You can whine all you want, but you’re just upset that you can’t get your slice of the political pie. Now you will probably keep writing and I might read, but I will see you for what you are, Tom, a Nazi and a hypocrite!
