Victoriano Avila-Negrete, 70, died at 10:35 p.m. June 15, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born March 6, 1944, in Lagos de Moreno, Mexico, to Jose Avila-Gonzalez and Guadalupe Negrete-Torres. On March 26, 1979, in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico, he married Juana Gonzalez de Avila, who survives in Warsaw. He is a high school graduate and lived in Warsaw since 2011, after moving from Mexico to Chicago, Ill., in 1979. She worked in the Medcast shipping department for a year. Also surviving are family members Maria Rios and family, Warsaw; Claudia Gonzalez and family, Warsaw; Maria Gonzalez and family, Warsaw; Francisco Rios and family, Warsaw; Armando Rios and family, Warsaw; Obdulia Gonzalez and family, Warsaw; Asencion Gonzalez and family, Warsaw; Miguel Gonzalez, Warsaw; and Guadalupe Salas and family, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Warsaw, with Father Constantino Rocha of the church officiating. Burial will be in Pantiondel Pueblo de Moya, Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico.
