AKRON – Scott Rogers, project manager with the Skillman Corporation, gave the Tippecanoe Valley School Board an update on the high school construction project Thursday.
In the last month, contractors have continued work in the locker rooms. They have set boilers in the existing mezzanine, as well as continued HVAC piping in the existing corridor and continued interior masonry walls in the locker room.
Rogers said they are talking about bringing in a sheet metal mason into the locker room to do work.
Work on piping for the pool tank was also done. G & G Hauling & Excavating, Warsaw, will also take out the remaining concrete in the pool.
In the next four weeks, Rogers said work will include to start setting the structural steel for the mechanical mezzanine, as well as interior masonry walls in the locker room. Work on the pool drains and rough grading for the deep end of the pool will also be started.
