Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease, in which the tissues in the joint break down over time. It is the most common type of arthritis and is more common in older people.
Zhigang Yuan, MD, a board-certified radiation oncologist practicing at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital, will present information regarding treating osteoarthritis with low dose radiation therapy on Aug. 23 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. the hospital’s administrative classroom located at 2101 E. Dubois Drive, Warsaw, according to a news release from Lutheran Health Network.
