Thelma Louise Speicher, 87, of Wabash, died at 8:39 a.m. Dec. 15, 2010, at Parkview Hospital, Huntington.

She was born July 30, 1923, in Urbana, to Harold S. and Mona Devers Speicher.

She was a graduate of Urbana High School and Bob Jones University, Greenville, S.C. She was a missionary in Bolivia, South America for 8-1/2 years and was secretary at Cyclone Manufacturing Co., Urbana. She was a member of Wabash Alliance Church and enjoyed reading and following world news in newspapers and on television.

Surviving are a sister, Carmen Anez, Wabash; two brothers, Morris (and spouse Anne) Speicher and Daniel E. II (and spouse Barbara) Speicher, all of Leesburg; and several nieces & nephews.

Services will be at Wabash Alliance Church, 1200 N. Cass St., Wabash, at 1 p.m. Friday with the Revs. Don Mitchell and Jim Walker officiating. Burial will be in Speicher Cemetery, Urbana.

Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the church.

Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, is in charge of arrangements.
