NORTH WEBSTER – Shirley J. Butler, 85, of Leesburg, died at 1:40 a.m. Jan. 20, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse. 
She was born June 27, 1926, in Leesburg, to Edward E. and Mamie F.  Roberts Black. On Aug. 8, 1947, in California, she married Glenn D. Butler, who survives. 
A lifetime northern Indiana area resident, she graduated from North Webster High School in 1942 and was a  homemaker.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sandy (and spouse   Jim) Harris, North Webster; a son, Gary (and spouse Connie) Butler, Goshen; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rosella “Rosie” Hardy and Donna Bevington, both of Leesburg. She was preceded in death by a sister and seven brothers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. 
Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
