GOSHEN - Ruth Irene Sellers, 81, of 500 E. Pickwick Drive, Syracuse, died at 10:10 p.m. June 10, 2009, in Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse, where she was a resident since February.
She was born Nov. 27, 1927, in Goshen, to Theodore E. and Arvesta G. Wyland Wheeler.
She worked at the Farmer's Exchange, New Paris, Goshen Hospital Pantry, and was co-owner of The Ivy Hut Flower Shop, Syracuse, for many years. She was a former member of Goshen Ladies Elks Club.
Surviving are three daughters: Susan E. McClish, New Paris; Christine "Tina" A. (and spouse Robert) Reid, Goshen; and Debra I. Kuhn, Syracuse; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley A. Witmer, Goshen. She was preceded in death by an infant son, an infant daughter, two sisters and a brother.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with Pastor John Hickey officiating.
