NAPPANEE - Raymond E. Miller, 69, of 6180 W. CR 1300N, Nappanee, died at 7 p.m. Jan. 5, 2008, in Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Nov. 23, 1938, in Nappanee, to Eli E. and Elsie Borkholder Miller. On Dec. 8, 1960, he married Wilma D. Yoder, who survives.
A lifetime area resident, he was a member of Old Order Amish Church.
Also surviving are seven sons: Glen R. (and spouse Barbara) Miller, Everet R. (and spouse Monica) Miller, Lester R. (and spouse Naomi) Miller and Leon R. (and spouse Marlene) Miller, all of Milford; Earl R. (and spouse Viola) Miller and Edwin R. (and spouse Martha) Miller, both of Nappanee; and Marlin R. (and spouse Sharon) Miller; 44 grandchildren; a brother, Owen Miller, Nappanee; and three sisters, Ada, Edna and Nina Miller, all of Nappanee. He was preceded in death by his stepmother and a grandson.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Marlon Schrock residence at 6143 W. CR 1300N, with Bishop Eli Lehman officiating, assisted by Home Ministry. Burial will be in West Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee.
Calling is all day today at the Marlon Schrock residence.
