SYRACUSE – Patrick David Jones, 25, of Chicago, Ill., passed away July 28, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born Aug. 1, 1985, in Warsaw, to Calvin and Robyn L. Heath Jones.

He graduated from Wawasee High School in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree sociology from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2008. He was an avid Indiana Hoosier basketball fan and was looking forward to the 2011-12 season. He was a dedicated Chicago Cub and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed treasure hunting antiques with his mom, and annually fishing and making maple syrup in Minnesota with his dad. He enjoyed reading the classic novels, cooking, golfing and listening to blues and classic rock music, including a vast collection of vinyl. He was a lifelong member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 253, North Webster. He was a beautiful young man who will be fondly remembered as someone charismatic and who sought friendship with many people he met. He chose to be a full organ and tissue donor so that his life can be a gift to others in need of hope and restoration.

Surviving are parents, Robyn Jones, Pierceton, and Calvin Jones (and Shelley Moore), Goshen; and grandparents, David (and spouse Susie Buennagel) Heath, North Webster; Leonard E. Jones, Goshen. He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Wanetta F. Juday Jones.
