MENTONE – Patricia Sue Eaton, 82, Warsaw, formerly of Mentone, passed away at 9:17 p.m. Sept. 18, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was born Nov. 26, 1932, in Franklin Township, Kosciusko County, to Gerald and Reatha Jefferies Ballenger. On June 13, 1951, in Denver, Colo., she married Mickey D. Eaton, who preceded her in death May 19, 2015. She was a 1951 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. She attended the Pleasant View Bible Church, Warsaw, and previously attended the Riverview Community Church, Tippecanoe. She was accomplished in the arts of needlework and quilting, skills she learned at an early age from her Grandmother Ballenger. Survivors include: her son, Kevin (and spouse Debra) Eaton, Texas; three grandchildren, Joshua, Tricia and Jeramy; a sister, Diana (and spouse Larry) Nellans, Florida; a brother-in-law, Jerry (and spouse Barbara) Eaton, and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death her parents, and a son, Kim, who died Dec. 27, 2006. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with Pastor Rodney Ruberg officiating.
