Opal P. Minars, 95, of 3829 Spann Ave., Indianapolis, and formerly of Akron and Warsaw, died at 2:03 a.m. Nov. 12, 2007, in Community Hospital East, Indianapolis.
She was born Aug. 5, 1912, in Wabash County, to John Harrison and Lydia Belle Dillman Perry.
She was a Warsaw High School graduate, a homemaker and a member of Emerson Avenue Baptist Church, Indianapolis.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol (and spouse Bob) Thornburgh, Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wilda York, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Akron Cemetery with Pastor Jim Boycourt officiating.
