Ollie Marie Snyder, 104, of 340 E. 18th St., Rochester, died at 12:40 p.m. April 3, 2007, in Hickory Creek, Rochester.

She was born Dec. 8, 1902, in Warsaw, to Allen and Bessie Brown Sutherlin. On Jan. 27, 1923, in Warsaw, she married Elvan Snyder, who died Feb. 3, 1978.

She moved to Rochester in 1935, where she spent the rest of her life. She worked in several businesses in Rochester. She worked at Times Theater, Shultz Brothers Five and Dime Store and Harvey's Dime Store. She was a long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Rochester.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Betty) McGowen, Rochester, and Mrs. James (Joyce) Thomas, Sun City, Ariz.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Buck Padilla officiating. Burial will be in Hamlet Cemetery, Talma.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
