SYRACUSE – Mun Foo Wong, 89, of Syracuse, died Aug. 4, 2011, in IU Health Goshen Hospital.
He was born Jan. 10, 1922, in Canton, China. On Sept. 17, 1945, he married Faye Kim Eng, who died in 2002.
He moved to the Syracuse area from Seattle, Wash., in 1949. He and his wife founded Faye & Foo’s Restaurant in 1953, retiring in 1974.
Surviving are a son, Corky Wong, Syracuse; and four grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
