AKRON – Martha E. Waymire, 87, Life Care Center of Rochester, and formerly of Akron, died at 12:35 p.m. Jan. 14, 2014, at her residence. She was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Frankfurt, Germany, to George Arthur Max and Margarete Geschwinder Karl. On Aug. 7, 1948, in Bad Nuheim, Germany, she married Vernon Marks “Bud” Waymire, who died Jan. 6, 2008. Private family services will be at a later date. Burial is in Gilead Cemetery.
