MILFORD – Madelyn Noel Stephenson, 19, Granger, and formerly of Leesburg, passed away Jan. 3, 2014. Her parents are Pam (and spouse Chad) Smith, Granger, and Jason (and spouse Michelle) Stephenson, Milford. She studied dance at LeeAnn Stewart School of Dance, attended Leesburg Elementary, Lakeview Middle School and Clay High School in South Bend where she majored in dance. She graduated with honors from Indiana Academy for Science Mathematics and Humanities in Muncie and attended Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame and Indiana University Bloomington where she was majoring in environmental science. Surviving are her parents; grandparents, Linda (and spouse Terry) Baker, Silver Lake; Michael Noel Sr., Leesburg; Dianne (and spouse Randall) Noel, Bourbon; and Chris (and spouse Gary) Smith, Niles, Mich.; Wade (and Linda Herendeen) Stephenson, Athens, Ind.; and Jim (and Sally) Priser, Warsaw; a sister, Helen “Cookie” Stephenson; two brothers, Nathaniel Stephenson and Dustin Smith, all of Granger; a stepsister, Jasmine Wadkins, Milford; and her boyfriend, Michael Spors, Indianapolis. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Kim Bloom officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
