NORTH MANCHESTER - Mabel L. Paul Price, 92, Fort Wayne, formerly of North Manchester, died May 27, 2008, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Jan. 8, 1916, in North Manchester, to Cain C. and Florence Adella Hill Weimer. She married John A. Paul, who preceded in death. In 1978, she married Bill Price, who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and owner of J&M Market, North Manchester, and a bookkeeper at Culligan Water Softening, Wabash. She graduated from Central High School in 1934. She was a member of Women of Moose and Tri Kappa Associate Chapter. She attended South Pleasant United Methodist Church, rural Silver Lake.
Surviving are a son, John E. (and spouse Carol) Paul, Fort Wayne; a daughter, Mrs. Nelma M. (and spouse Larry) Stoner, Cromwell; several stepchildren; a brother, Paul (and spouse Elsie) Weimer, Richmond, Va.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and a grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
