 M. June Klotz, 87, Nappanee, passed away Jan. 28, 2015, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born Jan. 11, 1928, in Bourbon, to Harold and Ruth Sechrist Lemler. On Jan. 11, 1949, in Nappanee, she married Paul R. Klotz, who preceded her in death July 28, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of the Nappanee area. “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her” (Proverbs 31:28). She was a godly woman, who was greatly loved by her family and who prayed daily for her family. She enjoyed working on the farm alongside her husband. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and playing dominoes with her family and friends. She worked for 26 years as a housekeeper at LuAnn Nursing Home in Nappanee before retiring in 2007. She attended First Church of God, Nappanee. Surviving are her five daughters: Diane (and spouse John) Hersch, Angola; Carol (and spouse Gary) Kinsey, Logansport; Elaine (and spouse Greg) Crump, South Bend; Janet (and spouse Tom) Shaver, Logansport; Pam (and spouse Chad) Roe, St. Mary’s, Ga; three sons: Steve (and spouse Cherri) Klotz, Wakarusa; Jim (and spouse Donna) and Jerry (and spouse Pam) Klotz, all of Nappanee; a son-in-law, Larry Cale, Nappanee; 13 grandchildren: Donna (and spouse Scott) Bryant; Jeff (and spouse Carrie) Cale; Michael (and spouse Cristina), Stacy, Hayden, Trevor and Hannah Klotz; Riley and Evan Roe; Kelly (and spouse Adam) Ottinger; Drew Shaver; Danielle (and spouse Nata) Fontan and Mike Crump; four stepgrandchildren: Stephanie (and spouse Jerry) Cripe, Kevin and Bob (and spouse Autumn) Kinsey and Beth (and spouse Brian) Johnson; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Chester, Richard and Lowell (and spouse Nancy) Lemler, all of Tippecanoe; a brother-in-law, Paul Briney, Tampa, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Marge (and spouse Harold) Berkey, Goshen, and Mary Lou (and spouse Bob) Geiger, Nappanee; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lamar and Kenneth Lemler; a sister, Peg Briney; and three sisters-in-law: Joann, Carol and Edna Lemler. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Church of God, 72036 CR 7, Nappanee, with the Rev. Sam Bennett, pastor of the church, officiating. Graveside services will be in Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee. Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
