PORT CHARLOTTE, FLA. - Lula King, 95, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 2, 2010, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 24, 1915, in Monticello, Ky., to Elisha and Becky Spradlin. In March 1960, she married John H. King, who survives.

She lived most of her life in Pierceton until 1993 when she would spend winters in Florida.

Also surviving are two daughters, Irene (and spouse Norman) Clay, Warsaw and and Alice (and spouse Dick) Nabinger, Pierceton; three sons; Lawrence (and spouse Susie) Walls, Chico, Calif., Lee (and spouse Becky) Walls, Douglas (and spouse Nancy) Walls,; two sisters, Wanda Martsolf, Goshen, and Eva Jo Sharp, Monticello, Ky; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Perry Walls, a son, Steven, a granddaughter, six sisters and three brothers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of Christ Church, Port Charlotte, Fla. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
