NAPPANEE – Joseph T. “Joe” Linville, 73, of Nappanee, died at 8:18 p.m. June 25, 2013, from natural causes. He was born July 27, 1939, in Earl, Ark., to Garrett and Lizzie Linville. On Oct. 15, 1957, in Nappanee, he married Laverne Duncan, who survives. He moved to the Nappanee area as a child from Arkansas. He worked as a carpenter. Also surviving are two sons, Ron (and spouse Nancy) Linville, and Dennis (and spouse Teresa) Linville, both of Nappanee; a daughter, Cindy (and spouse Joel) Sawyer, Syracuse; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack (and spouse Nancy) Linville, Florida, and Ray (and spouse Laney) Linville, Goshen; and two sisters, Faye Tyler and Anna Mae Ashby, both of Goshen. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
