SYRACUSE – Jason Allen Coy, 31, of Syracuse, died unexpectedly Sept. 22, 2012, in his residence.
He was born Nov. 2, 1980, in Warsaw, to Allen L. and Sheryl A. Ogburn Coy.
He was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated Wawasee High School, Syracuse, in 1999. He worked at National Products, Syracuse, and formerly worked at Sleepy Owl and Dewart Lake Inn, both in Syracuse, and Homecrest Cabinetry, Goshen. He formerly attended North Webster Church of God and was a member of the Indiana University Chapter of Delta Upsilon Fraternity.
Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Heather (and spouse Adam) Lovely, Noblesville, and Chelsea and Jenna Coy, both of Syracuse; a brother, Jaxon Coy, Syracuse; her grandmother and stepgrandfather, Joan and Charles Baker, Warsaw; a stepgrandmother, Pam Ogburn, Orlando, Fla.; a stepgrandfather, Rudy Mills, Anderson; his companion, Teri Lentner, Portage; and a stepson, Shane Pullins. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Burial will be private in Syracuse Cemetery. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
