The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced the closure of Ind. 14 for a culvert replacement near Silver Lake.
Starting on or after May 28, crews will be working between South CR 100W and South County Farm Road over Nelson Ditch. Work on the project is expected to be complete by the end of June. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the official detour of Ind. 15, U.S. 30 and Ind. 13, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
